I recently powered up my old Dell PowerEdge 2950 and decided to install Proxmox on it, just in case I need it in a pinch. While I don’t run the server full-time anymore due to its power usage and noise, it’s still a solid backup for handling extra VMs or taking over some workloads when needed. Now it’s sitting there, ready to go if things get too heavy for my main systems.
