I’ve set up BorkTV using a Raspberry Pi 3 running RetroPie for old game console emulation. It supports wireless PS3 controllers, and I’ve got Kodi for media streaming plus Steam Link for remote PC gaming. I’ve been playing the old DOS games I grew up on, like Commander Keen, Doom, Lemmings, and Wolfenstein, as well as classic Nintendo games like Mario and Zelda. All the games are ones I own.
