I’ve been playing around with a fun new feature in SkipTrack—something I’m calling “Laser Jumper.” Imagine skipping rope in mixed reality, but now with lasers sweeping across your floor, coming straight at your feet. Your room is still visible, but suddenly there’s this added challenge: jump over the lasers, or watch your virtual legs get lasered off.
How Laser Jumper Works
The lasers move toward you from different angles. You can still see your actual room around you, but you’ve gotta time your jumps just right to avoid getting clipped. It’s like combining classic jump rope with something out of a futuristic action scene. If you don’t jump in time, your avatar’s legs get lasered off (don’t worry, you get them back!).
