I recently upgraded my NAS with a 6-drive hotswap bay for SSDs and added two 500GB SSDs to the setup. I configured an SSD pool and linked it to my Proxmox cluster. After moving some VMs over to the SSD pool for testing, I’m impressed with the performance—it runs really smoothly and has significantly sped up the VMs. This should make a big difference for handling higher loads!
